New Hanover County Man Charged With Brunswick County DWI Death

WILMINGTON, NC (WECT) – According to arrest warrants obtained by WECT, the North Carolina Highway Patrol arrested 48-year-old James Joseph Robertson, Jr. of Castle Hayne Saturday in connection to an incident that occurred on July 27, 2014.

The warrants stated that Robertson killed Ralph George Gallagher III, 43, while driving impaired on the US 17 highway in Brunswick County.

Robertson was charged with felony death by vehicle and failure to maintain lane control.
